Don Fishman

For Don Fishman, the pandemic has taught him to be less materialistic and more concerned with the needs of others. It’s instilled a greater sense of appreciation, he said, and the understanding that “gratitude turns what we have into enough.” 

Don is inspired by his wife, who regularly demonstrates gratitude, along with the Madisonville community, its caring residents and organizations that are constantly helping others. “To me, gratitude is a spontaneous act that comes from your heart and is its own reward,” he said.  

I would hope my actions show a small amount of gratitude and maybe encourage others to find gratitude in their lives.”
