Jeff Fultz is grateful for the many sacrifices made in the Richmond community throughout the pandemic — including those made in his very own workplace. The market president of Central Bank recalls when nearly half of his office staff tested positive for COVID-19, one employee who lived with his grandmother temporarily moved out to protect her while continuing to cover for coworkers while they recovered. 

“The current crisis has reminded me of how grateful I am to be a member of a supportive community and family, both of which I lean on in tough times,” he says. It’s also inspired him to express his gratitude and lift others up.

Gratitude is a perspective in which we recognize how fortunate we are, and it motivates us to help those who are less fortunate.
