Sherrell Suttle Brown

Sherrell Brown has so much to be thankful for, but she’s especially grateful for the compassionate medical care she’s received at Baptist Health Lexington, as well as her husband, Jerry, to whom she’s been married for 50 years. “He has been my rock throughout this journey, and I couldn’t have done it without him. Support systems are critical at times like this.”
Everyone works together to see that patient needs are met. The infusion nurses are amazing — I can’t thank them enough.
She’s also grateful for the ongoing care of oncologist Dr. Firas Badin. “He was there from my admission to the hospital on Feb. 26, 2018, and throughout my experience so far and will be with me as long as I need him.”
Sherrell passed away on December 17, 2021. The gratitude she showed during her time here brightened the lives of so many people and proved her steadfast determination to see the positive.
