Debbie Mueller has always been an optimist — an attribute that’s served her well over the past year. “Even in a crisis of this magnitude, we need to look for and find gratitude in the goodness, kindness and resilience of others,” says Debbie, a longtime nurse and coordinator of Perinatal Bereavement & Perinatal Palliative Care at Baptist Health Lexington.

When asked what she’s most grateful for, Debbie cites a long list of blessings, including her family, faith, friends and co-workers. Plus, she says, “Work that I love and an employer whose mission is faith-based and whose primary goal is to put the patient first in everything that we do.
